Summary
RemoveFilter’s photo tool decodes, edits, previews, and exports images in your browser. The current version has no endpoint that accepts photo files and no user accounts or advertising scripts. Google Analytics loads only after you select Allow analytics. Ordinary web requests still pass through Cloudflare Pages, which receives network and device information needed to deliver and protect the site.
Photos and local processing
When you choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP file, the browser grants this tab access to that selected file. JavaScript creates an in-memory bitmap and Canvas pixel data. Preview and export remain on your device. RemoveFilter does not intentionally transmit the image, its pixels, filename, or edit settings to a server or to Google Analytics.
The image remains available to the page while the tab is open. Press Start over or close the tab to release the active working state. A downloaded result is saved through your browser’s normal download mechanism.
Hosting and technical request data
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When a browser requests a page or asset, Cloudflare may process an IP address, request time, URL, user agent, referring page, security signals, and response status for delivery, abuse prevention, reliability, and logs. Retention and access depend on the site owner’s Cloudflare configuration and Cloudflare’s own policies. RemoveFilter does not combine those requests with uploaded photos because no image upload route exists.
Analytics consent and local storage
The site stores one first-party preference named removefilter_analytics_consent in local storage so it can remember whether you allowed or declined analytics. This preference contains only the words granted or denied. It does not contain a photo, filename, edit value, name, or email address.
If you select Allow analytics, the site loads Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-M3SLEH4JW8. Google Analytics may receive the page URL, referring page, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser and device information, and interaction events used to understand site traffic. Advertising storage, ad personalization, and Google Signals are disabled in this implementation. If you select Essential only, the Google Analytics script is not loaded.
You can reopen the consent panel at any time with the Privacy choices button in the footer. Clearing this site’s local storage will also reset the choice. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security mechanisms at the network edge when responding to abuse or unusual traffic.
Advertising and Google products
No ads are currently served. If Google AdSense is enabled later, this policy and the live consent experience must be reviewed before ad code is added. Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, receive IP addresses or other identifiers, and process information to deliver, limit, personalize, and measure ads. Google explains this processing on its How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services page.
Where required—including the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland—the site will use a Google-certified consent management platform before requesting personalized advertising consent. Visitors must be able to reject non-essential advertising storage and manage choices. The site will not pass personally identifiable information in ad requests or build sensitive audience segments from uploaded image content.
Once an AdSense publisher ID exists, the authorized seller record will be published at /ads.txt. The current file contains no seller ID because inventing or publishing another publisher’s identifier would be inaccurate.
Children
RemoveFilter is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. It does not request age, name, email, or an account. If advertising is introduced, child-directed treatment and ad-personalization restrictions must be evaluated before release.
Third-party links
Guides may link to official documentation such as Apple Support, MDN, Google policies, or Cloudflare documentation. Those sites receive ordinary request information when you follow a link and operate under their own privacy policies.
Your choices
- Do not choose a photo if you do not want the browser tab to read it.
- Press Start over or close the tab to clear the active in-page image state.
- Choose Essential only to use the tool without loading Google Analytics.
- Use Privacy choices in the footer to review or change the analytics preference.
- Use browser controls to clear site data; the current release stores no photo persistently.
- If advertising is enabled later, use the displayed consent controls and Google’s ad settings to manage personalization.
